Onlays

Stop the destructive dentistry of the past and don't wait for your teeth to crack or split.

Teeth that have large, dark-looking silver-mercury fillings are on the fast track to needing full crowns. As silver-mercury fillings age they break down, rust, and expand. This can begin to fracture the tooth from the inside leading to a crown. Stop this now, by removing that silver-mercury filling and replacing it with a Bonded Onlay.

Bonded Onlays are very cost efficient in comparison to full crowns. Onlays feel like your own teeth and look totally natural. Onlays also strengthen teeth weakened by old silver-mercury fillings because they are bonded to the tooth with adhesive.

Think of Onlays as “crown prevention”. But, if you wait until the tooth breaks or decays, you may have no other choice but to drill away more of the tooth for a crown.
